My Mail Services (MMS) App Login Guide

  1. Students and users will need to download the My Mail Services App. You can scan the QR codes or download them directly from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.
  2. You will need to enter the following information into the MMS App to activate the app:
    a. Customer ID: 1084
    b. Email Address: This will be your school email @go.byuh.edu

  4. Once the password is entered and confirmed, you should now be in the application and can manage your account.

Locker Package Pickup

  1. Once a package is routed to you by the mailroom staff, you will receive an email and app notification stating that your package is ready. Then, you will be able to see the package within your MMS app. (Note: The notification will display “Stored,” not “Routed”).

  2. Make sure that you enable notifications for the app by going to settings on your Apple/Android device, and make sure the MMS app has the notifications turned on.

    a. If notifications are not working, delete and redownload the app.
    b. Make sure that within the app, notifications are enabled.
    c. Text notifications are also available after confirming your mobile number.
  3. On the home screen of the app, you will see all the packages that are waiting for you to be picked up.
    a. Simply press on the package, then click open locker and pick up your package.
    b. Do not forget to shut the locker when finished.
  4. There are two ways to open the locker. You can enter a code at the kiosk when you arrive or use the app.

How to Open Lockers Using Code on Text and Email

  1. Locate the correct Package Bank (Sunshine, Trade Wind, or Sea Breeze)
  2. On a text, find "Access Code"
In an email, find "User Code"
  3. Enter the four-digit code on the touch screen of the kiosk.
(Note: The email provides the locker door number as a reference. The door will automatically open with your package)
  4. Go back to the kiosk and select "Done".

Packages Stored in the Same Locker

Once the mailroom staff routes your items, you will receive an email and app notification stating that your packages are ready for pickup. If multiple packages are assigned to the same locker, you can use a single access code to retrieve all of them at once.

Follow these steps to complete your multi-package pickup:

  1. Open the MMS app and log in to view your pending items.
  2. Select your assigned locker item from the home screen to view its details.
  3. Select the "Open Locker" button to open the locker compartment door.
  4. Retrieve all packages stored inside that specific locker.
  5. Refresh the app screen to verify that the completed pickup items have been cleared from your active list.
  6. If you have packages at different locker numbers or banks, you will have to select those packages and open them individually via the app or using the code at the kiosk.
  1. Once a package is routed to you by the mailroom staff, you will receive an email and app notification stating that your package is ready for pickup. You will then be able to see the package within your MMS app. (Note: The notification will display “Routed,” not “Stored.”)
A mobile phone notification from MyMailServices reading: 'Your package is Routed. Tracking # 80101067. Carrier: Custom Item.'
  2. The notification will direct you to go to your mailroom, either on campus or in an area within the building.
    a. Depending on the size of the package, the mailroom staff may leave a note stating, “Pick up behind the mailroom counter” (e.g., for packages too large for a locker)
    b. If so, the MMS app can be used to confirm that you have successfully picked up your package.
  3. When picking up the package from the location, follow these steps to log your package pickup in the app:
    a. Sign in to the MMS App
    b. Select the specific package you are retrieving from your pending items list.
    c. Navigate to the bottom of the package details screen and select the “I’ve Picked Up this Item” button.
A mobile phone notification from the MyMailServices app that reads: "Your package is Routed. Tracking # 80101067. Carrier: Custom Item."
    Reminder:
While mailroom staff typically scan the item before handing over the package to complete the delivery, some items are left directly in a designated pickup area. Selecting “I’ve Picked Up this Item” ensures both parties are notified, and the transaction is completed in the system.
  4. Once you press “I’ve Picked Up this Item”, you will get an email and/or text message confirmation, and the item will be taken out of your available packages in the MMS application.
  1. Once a package is routed to you by the mailroom staff, you will receive an email and app notification stating that your letter mail is ready for pickup.
  2. It will give you the Mailbox Folder number in the app in the contents of the email.
  3. That mailbox number is what you will need to find and identify where your mail is in the HD mail station.
  4. Tell the mailroom staff your mail folder number, and they will retrieve your mail.

  1. Go to the "Pick Up" window to retrieve letter/s.
(Note: Have photo ID and box number ready)
  2. Delete the letter from the MMS app once claimed from the window.
